I am Sukhwinder, I am from India. I am an international student in Paris. I just finished my BAC+3 in October and now I am doing Masters in Hospitality Mangement. I speak Punjabi, Hindi, English and French (A2 level) languages. I am a student in ESCC business school. I am available for the school outings for the year 2023 2024. As per I am an international student here in the field of Hospitality. For me, the most motivational thing is to praise, encourage, learn new things and communicate with the people from different countries and make sure they feel comfortable when they meet you. I don’t have my own child yet but I have 2 and half years experience with children. They were 2 and 5. I also have experience with a 10 years old. I feel very comfortable with children and I think they also feel same. Which means that I have already carried a baby in my arms. Patience is the most important quality whenever you are with children, because if you don’t have patience, you will never take care of a child. The children never feel uncomfortable nor have any hesitation with me, they feel free. I think I have these best qualities that makes me a good babysitter. I am also a very good listener, polite and discipline type of person and I am always be on a time. I love to draw paintings, paper crafts, sketch drawing, reading and listening to good stories. I want them to avoid screens so I would like to play with them and make sure that they will also like to play with me. I like to do little little things with them for example; I like to go with them in the parks and activities areas, if they want to stay at home, I like to do indoor activities. The main reason behind this is that if I never play with them they will never like to spend time with me. I prefer outdoor and indoor activities whenever I am with children. For example, I can propose them to draw. I can also propose some exercises. It depends on the age. I never use my phone whenever I am with children, but if it’s necessary for example; if there parents call me then I am always picking up my phone, otherwise no. As a nanny, I make sure that feel very comfortable with me, I think that is the quality I have that makes me a good babysitter. As I already mentioned in the last question, I am patient, I am a good listener and I make them comfortable. These are the best qualities to have as a babysitter. Because I will always make sure that their children are in a safe place and they don’t need to be stressed about them. Thank you. Sukhwinder KAUR.
