Hello, my name is Eriqa Jome. I am from India and I am currently completing my Master's degree in Contemporary Fashion in Paris, with my graduation scheduled for September. English is my first language, and I also speak basic French, which I continue to improve every day. I am available for after-school pick-ups and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Their curiosity, energy, and creativity bring me so much joy and keep me grounded. I love creating fun and interactive experiences while helping children naturally develop their English skills through everyday conversations, games, movement, and rhythm. I am also happy to assist with light household chores. I have experience caring for children aged 5 and 6 in Paris, as well as looking after the children of family members and close friends in India. These experiences have taught me how to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to express themselves. I know how to remain calm during tantrums or emotional moments, listening patiently, reassuring the child, and responding with empathy and understanding. I am also comfortable managing a structured after-school routine, including school pick-up, time at the park, homework, bath time, pajamas, dinner, and evening activities, while ensuring everything is completed calmly and according to the family's routine. My greatest quality is my empathy. I am also caring, positive, understanding, and fun to be around. I enjoy dancing, singing, drawing, and many other forms of visual, creative and performing arts. I love sharing these passions with children through creative projects, movement-based activities, art, and educational games that stimulate both their imagination and critical thinking. I believe children benefit from having someone who encourages their creativity, builds their confidence, and supports their personal development in a warm and encouraging environment. Parents can trust me to provide responsible, attentive, and reliable care while ensuring their children are safe, happy, engaged, and learning through everyday experiences.
