Hello, my name is Keerthana, and I’m 26 years old. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in International Business at EMLV near La Défense. I am originally from India. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and have 3 years of professional experience as a Microbiologist/Biotechnologist. I speak Tamoul, English and I can understand Hindi et a bit of French In relation to childcare, I have 10 years of informal experience. I have cared for children ranging from 5 months to 14 years old. I am enthusiastic, collaborative, and love keeping my surroundings fun and joyful. My dream is to start my own cosmetic brand, which is why I chose to study Biotechnology and International Business. At the moment, I am completing a remote internship in India, which means I don’t have regular classes. I motivate myself by reminding myself of the many dreams I aim to achieve. I am also open to helping with house chores if needed. In India, we don’t have babysitters in the same way. It’s common to take care of neighbors’ children as well. I have experience feeding children, helping them with homework, and organizing activities. I currently live with my aunt, who has two children—a 3-year-old and a 14-month-old baby—so I regularly help with their care. I am active, adaptable, funny, focused, and patient. In my free time, I enjoy designing dresses, and I have completed a diploma in Fashion Designing. I also play the guitar, although I haven’t practiced recently. When caring for children, I believe in encouraging activities rather than letting them stay idle. Activities are essential to keeping them engaged and physically active. Here are some of the activities I can organize: Alphabet games Counting nearby objects to improve math skills Finding colors and painting Storytelling Gardening (if possible) I will switch off my phone during work hours to remain fully available and focused on the children. I aim to create a safe and happy environment for children, whether by playing with them, telling stories, or cooking meals they enjoy.
