Hi, my name is Maria, I’m a 26-year-old Masters student here in Paris. - My big dream and goal in life is to finish my studies, first my masters and then hopefully a PhD. I would ultimately like to work restauration of paintings. I am available for school outings? - I think education is the most important aspect of life, and I believe working with kids allows me to pass that passion for learning on. - Since last summer I have gained a lot of experience working with kids. When I first moved to Paris I babysat two kids, ages 8 and 5, for a couple of months. I later had the pleasure of becoming an English language assistant in a middle school in Fontenay-sous-Bous. Both of these experiences have thought me a lot as to how to approach different types of kids. - I think one of my better qualities is that I’m very patient in all aspects of life. - I am very meticulous and detail-oriented. - I can draw quite well, but I prefer painting, I paint with oils, acrylic and gauche. I have a sense of rhythm and I can dance quite well. - I mainly tend to try and stay away from screens while I babysit and only allow limited screen time - A lot of the time I suggest games that require a lot of communication as I think it is important in the learning or upkeeping of a language. I think a good example of a games like that would be anything like association games or memory games - I would describe myself as rather fun and easy-going and I think most kids tend to be relaxed around me. - I am a reliable person with strong communication skills along with experience in the field of child-care. - I think the parents would have to meet me and see how I interact with their child/ children to see if they can trust me.
