Hello children and hello parents, My name is Fleur Craig. I am French-American, and I am 21 years old. I study cinema and journalism at the American University of Paris and I live in central Paris. I am available for school outings. I like spending time with children, and I am very motivated. I am able to take care of a house, and I also know how to cook and bake. I looked after Mrs. Kraus's daughter for 2 years, in Paris, aged 9, and I worked in summer camps. I am understanding and patient, and will always do my best to make the children in my care comfortable. I want them to feel like they can come talk to me and for them to understand that it's okay to make mistakes or not know how to respond to an event or feeling they're experiencing, as long as we solve the problem together later. I am quite organized and I respect the schedule given to me by the parents. I am of course also firm when necessary and I know how to make a child listen to me. I love arts and craft, drawing, and dancing. I enjoy making crafting little objects and participating in fun art projects. I also know how to sew quite well. I think doing fun manual and artistic activities is great for a child. I personally believe that reading is fundamental to a child's development, and I will always encourage an older child to read alone, or we could even read books together if the child is younger/doesn't want to read alone . I think I am a good listener, and I can teach children a lot in terms of creativity, different languages, and helping them find new ways to express themselves and assert themselves as a person.
