I am Ridmi Perera. I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Sri lanka. I went to a reputed international school so I'm fluent in English. Currently, I'm a student who attends university and right now I'm doing my degree in luxury brand management. I of course definitely have a big dream. I’m working on making my own clothing line and I'm striving hard everyday to create a brand and go forward in my life. I am available for school outings for the year 2023 2024. I'm a risk taker. No matter how hard things get I still bear it up and take the risk to go forward. I never wait for things to happen. I'd rather try to gain at least the minimum I could I’ve been a babysitter for 2 and a half years now. I’ve been working with different families with different nationalities. I’ve always enjoyed my time with kids. I have already carried a baby in my arms. I'm very friendly I'm an extrovert, an outgoing person , and I'm nice and kind. I didn’t do art as a subject in school but I really have a very good mind in creativity. I share a lot of new and innovative art and craft ideas with my siblings since they work in a creche , so I do really have good skills on the side of creativity. I don’t think the screen is a very good idea for children nowadays because they get addicted very quickly, so I'd rather find an interesting game to play or an activity to do rather than putting them in front of the TV. I suggest painting, art and crafts, matching pictures and other drawings. And if it’s a girl a dressup makeover game would be ideally fun. I will not turn off my cell phone at any time unless I'm asked to since there could be an emergency at any moment we never know. So I’d rather keep my phone switched on other than switching it off. Something I noticed working with children is that they are very easy going with me. They are very loving and caring and I'm sure they will have a good time with me because I do a lot of activities which consist of a lot of joy and laughter. I'm very polite with the kids. I help them improve their English a lot. I’ve done it before as well. I’ve taught English very quickly to kids who only spoke French but when I left the family at the end of the school year the kids spoke an advanced level of English. I'm very good with children, very kind and generous. I'm coming from a family who taught their kids good values and to always be helpful and honest. So I generally think that I can be trusted.
